The Mill House has been fairly up and down with standards over the years. When it opened it was the first type of pub like it in town (cheap cheerful chain pub) I had a really bad meal there a few years back and didn't go again until recently, it's now ok - big portions of basic pub food - nothing fresh or too exciting but you get what you pay for. Really good family place though.

mill house is a place my familey love to go with friendly staff and good food, never had a bad meal yet. And the kids love to play in the soft play area,(though they could do with a member of staff to watch over the play area as the mothers and fathers of the other children are to busy indulging there selfs to care what there little vandles are up to untill they come crying then they want to blame everyone but themselfs (BAD PARENTING). The Millhouse is a lovely first class eaterie it is the bad parents that let it down.
In short its not good , bad overcooked food that has obviously been left under heat for far too long, its not particularly well cleaned , our table was cleaned after we sat down, the service was appalling, and our meals arrived over a period of 25 minutes or so, which no on cared about , or could be bothered to explain why to any degree, so I refused to pay for 50% of the bill. Only then we they interested in me. I will never go there again.
