Sunday carvery is great.
I've eaten here a few times (admittedly not recently) and it's always been good. Are the portion sizes still huge? I remember having enough to feed a family for a meal for two! Will make an effort to get there soon - i've heard the carvery is worth a try!

Sunday carvery is great.

Great eating pub near Chippenham
Such a lovely pub in a gorgeous Cotswold-like village; we went just after Christmas and there was a huge log fire and even a couple of dogs lying in front of it like something out of a feudal manor! I had black pudding and poached eggs hten steak and ale pie, all beautifully cooked by the chef and well presented. There’s a kids menu and a curry night too as well as a Sunday carvery. I‘ll try them out soon!
