Milkshake masters Shakeaway will be opening up a new shop this weekend in Chippenham town centre.

The unmissable blue and yellow themed store will be serving Chippenham from Saturday October 17.

The news has created a stir among youngsters in the town, who say they cannot wait to begin sampling Shakeaway's vast menu of sweet treats.

Millie Campbell, 16, said: " We used to have to go to bath for Shakeaway's but it'll be so much better having one in town. It will definitely be popular, my friends and i are really excited."

Shakeaway currently has over 40 branches throughout the UK and began in 1999 when creators 'Rob and Peter' dreamt up the idea of a milkshake shop in 1993.

Since then the 'Shakeaway' has become a national institution, boasting hundreds of flavours from Mars Bar, to Bakewell Tart, and franchises now exist overseas in Australia and Cyprus.
