The thieves broke into the business unit by smashing down a door on Friday January 29, between 7.30pm and 12.30am.

They stole a number of mechanical tools including two Stihl TS800 disc cutters with diamond tipped blades, three Stihl TS410 disc cutters with diamond tipped blades, a block splitter, five Stihl 86G blowers and five Honda blowers.

They also took a white Ford transit van, which was stolen from outside the premises.

PC Ian Tilley said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw or heard anyone acting suspiciously.

"In particular I am keen to identify the driver of a black car that was traveling along Harris Road at approximately 2am, just before the white van being driven by the offenders is seen traveling in the same direction. This driver may hold vital information that can help us in our investigations.”

Anyone who has information regarding this incident is asked to contact PC Ian Tilley on 0845 408 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information may be left anonymously if preferred.
