The latest batch of upgrades are expected to be completed by summer 2010, with most exchanges being kitted up with VDSL+, providing fibre-from-the-exchange (FTTC) to the provider’s road-side cabinets.

i hope this means that the overall connection speeds will improve as we have been paying for an up 10mb service but barely receiving over 4mb. as more people want to take advantage of
faster broadband the technology in place will struggle if its not upgraded to deal with it.
