Thousands of people packed into Bowood over the weekend for the annual Wiltshire Country Fair.

In its fourth year the Game and Country Fair aims to showcase the best in local produce, talent and bring the countie's country pursuits together in one place.

And this year proved as popular as ever with crowds making their way to Derry Hill’s stately gardens, Bowood.

Crowds were entertained with horse shows, falconry displays and a dog show.

There were also plenty of stalls to wander around selling locally handmade produce from clothes to artwork and handmade crafts.

There were also 20 minute ‘how to’ sessions for those wishing to have a go at some of the events on offer, from shooting to dog handling.

Food fans were spoilt for choice and top chef from Game-to-eat – Tony Robertson – demonstrated how to whip up the perfect dishes with his favourite game recipes.

He was supported by celebrity chef and the UK's leading food archaeologist Alan Coxon, who delved back in time to reveal some intriguing recipes.

If you were there, let us know how it was, and don’t forget to upload pictures!
