The annual Chippenham Street Fayre takes place on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, 30 May 2011, the final day of the Chippenham Folk Festival which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Chippenham Wiltshire Vale, over 40 craft and food stalls from the length and breadth of the country will line the High Street and the Market Square selling products from all over the world, many of them on a 'fair trade' basis. If the weather is kind, the streets will be packed with shoppers, and groups of Morris and country dancers and musicians will add to the festive atmosphere.
Further information is available at http://tinyurl.com/yd3wv9l . Entrance to the street fayre is free, however traders are charged a fee for a trading pitch, and an online booking and payment form is available on the website. If you sell products that are suitable to be sold at a craft fayre, why not give it a go?
