I've seen that roadworks are to begin on Pewsham Way on the 9th January, I imagine this will cause a lot of people to revert to their old ways of cutting through Webbington Road again-just as people are getting used to going round Pewsham Way and up Canal Road!

Looks like its to do with the water mains, as the road itself here is actually in good order.
Will look forward to the queues then. I wonder if there will be traffic lights on the road or will it be completely closed? Either way I hope they have the sense to divert non pewsham traffic down the London road from both ends otherwise Pewsham will get very clogged up - lets hope no-one needs an emergency service during the peak times.

The whole area is clogged up first thing in the morning as it is - looks like it might actually be quicker to take the long way round (London Road) once these works start!
