I noticed that people though the Good food cottage had good chinese food, is it still there though as i think its been taken over by a fabric shop, if it has moved does anyone know where it moved to as i have never been there but would like to try it as i used to go to the oriental aroma but unfortunately that has just gone and i though that was the best chinese in chippenham.

There is a super Chinese Restaurant in Sheldon Road, it used to be the Five Alls pub, it serves the best Chinese food I've ever eaten and generous portions too.

I would highly recommend La Flambe in Sutton benger. Fantastic food, never disappoints and is within taxi/driving distance from the town centre. Alternatively for a cosy pub with good food try the Bell at Lacock or the Lansdowne Arms in Derry Hill?

Alternatively, if you're after something in the town centre, Revolutions is really nice and as you've probably seen the Bridge Brasserie has had great feedback. And you wouldn't have to drive out to either of those!
