What has happened to the street preacher? Doesn't he normally appear at Friday lunch-times? I do hope nothing has happened to him.

I am not a religious person, but I love such characters. Tolerance of the eccentric and slightly off-kilter is one of the things that makes me proud to be British.

I totally Disagree too. The particular street preacher you mention used to preach hate, and intollerance. I'm rather glad he has gone.

I have heard the man many times when I have been parking up my bike and I have never heard any hate or intolerance. He is a brave man. There is a great history of free speech in this country. Live with it!

When I go for a coffee I do not want to bombarded with religious preaching thanks very much! He should be arrested! He's homophobic and quite frankly a nuisance!

Gastardextile, you have been lucky then, becaause I have witnessed him say to a guy in a wheel chair, that he should have been euthanised, rather than live the life of a cripple! He has also stated that gay people need forgiveness. Forgiveness from what exactly?

I support free speach, but even free speach has it limits!. I do not accept what he has been preaching as free speach. I call it vile hatred, and I do not see why it should be allowed. I would have no problem if he stood and preached equality and acceptance, but he does not do that.

Incidentally have you tried to debate with him? if you try to question what he states, he either blanks you completly, or accuses you of being a religion hater!
