Reasons you should shop in the Town Center.

Yes I have been one of the Vocal Critics of Chippenham Town Center, but I am also willing to admit, when it is better there that out of town. I currently have only 1 reason and its below, if you can giove more, and give an example please let us all know.

1. Better / Politer Customer Service.

Two weeks ago I helped my elderly parents look for and purchase a new TV to replace their one which had broken down, and was not repairable due to lack of parts. (it was only 3 years old).

We went to the PC World & Currys super store in Chippenham, becuase of my Parents Limited Budget we thought the bigger store would give us more choice.

Not a chance. They had only two TV's within my parents price range on display, we chose the one I knew was a better make, ratherr than the "DSG" own brand. But guess what, they had none in stock.

When I queried why if they had no stock, was it still advertised, the flipant answer i got, was "ÿou should have checked the stock level before coming and I dont have to sell you anything" This from the stores manager!

you can imagine I was not impressed. At this point I would have normally walked out and gone to Comet, but my parents has a voucher that could only be used in DSG stores, after getting the super store to check what was availiable in the Emery Gate shop, we went there and had more TV's to chose from.

We were met by a very pleasent young man called Jack, who was assisted by a member of the Management team Called Steve. Through out the transaction, they were polite and helpfull. After only 15 minutes, we left with the pefect TV for my Parents.
