Wiltshire Police are reminding residents of Chippenham that the Wood Lane police enquiry office will be closing at 5pm this Friday (22, March 2013) and move to Wiltshire Council's Monkton Park premises.
The enquiry office will provide the same service as it did at the Wood Lane premises with the opening hours of Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm.
The move will see the enquiry office moving to the same location as the neighbourhood policing team.
Superintendant Gavin Williams, Local Policing North said: "Sharing buildings with the council is a key way for us to work more closely with our partner agencies to improve the service we give to the public."
Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire and Swindon, Angus Macpherson said: "I welcome this move, which follows both neighbourhood and response police officers relocating to Monkton Park. Through sharing buildings in this way we are able to provide effective services to the public while saving money in the light of significant budget cuts across the public sector."
The police enquiry office will reopen in its new location Monday, 25, March 2013 at 8am.
Charities Splash and Bobby Van who are also located at the Wood Lane premises will be moving to the premises on the Monday.
