Wiltshire Council welcomed the public to give their opinions on a possible skatepark being located in Chippenham last night.
The meeting gave the public the opportunity to speak out about where the skatepark could be located with location possibilities including at River Island or by the Olympiad in Monkton Park.
Chair of the Chippenham Area Board and the Chippenham Skatepark Task Group, Desna Allen said: "This was a great opportunity for people to air their opinions and get them talking to eachother."
Another meeting will be held tomorrow (Wednesday, 28, November 2012) to discuss the feedback from yesterday's meeting and use it to eventually decide the final proposal.
The Chippenham Skatepark Task Group will be sending out their recommendation to the Chippenham Area Board, Monday, 7, January 2013.
What do you think about a proposed skatepark coming to the town? Have your say here!

The previous skatepark was only removed, because of nimbys complaining about the noise. These would be the same nimbys that complain about kids hanging around on street corners now. I fail to understand why it has taken 10 years to find a suitable location. It's about time our councillors got of their backs and give the kids of this town what they deserve!
I think it's time we replace all our councillors! New blood is needed in this town
