Webb to make Pats' debut in Weston clash

Two sides hovering around the middle of the table meet at the Drove Road Recreation Ground tomorrow when Weston-super-Mare host an Old Patesians side who are a point above them.

Matt Watkins continues on the wing for Weston but James Mackay is sidelined through injury. Chris Young comes in at full-back, Ash Russell returns to the second row with Rich Bignall at openside flanker

Old Patesians give a debut to former Lydney centre Ross Webb so Leo Fielding moves to the right wing.

James Pugh comes in at loosehead prop, Henry Tapsell switches to No.8 with Josh Stevens coming in at blindside flanker. Leroy Hughes is at openside flanker as Nathan Riley is injured and Marcus Brown unavailable.

Chippenham will be looking to continue their rise up the table with a league double when they travel to Barnstaple.

The Wiltshire club could give a debut from the bench to fly-half Callum MacDonald, 22, who has recently arrived from Scotland.

Old Redcliffians are just two points above the relegation zone after their 29-22 defeat at Old Patesians last weekend but tomorrow they host basement side Newbury Blues who have yet to win a game this season.

There will be an inspection of the Scotland Lane pitch at 11am tomorrow. If the game goes ahead the home side will show two changes with Matt Dew making his debut at lock and Scott Coster returning at No.8.

Dan Kemmish has recovered from his hamstring strain so retains the No.8 berth while Ashley Pippard moves to full- back in place of Nick Francis with Garron Basson staring on the right wing.
