A high tech skin analysis technique is coming to the Aspire Beauty Salon at Wiltshire College Chippenham for a one day event that will reveal all that is good and about people's skin.
For anyone who has ever wondered how their skin compares to other of the same age or how they may look in a few years' time, this technique is just for you.
A skin analyst from anti-aging skincare brand Environ is hosting the special event on Monday, February 3, and will be on hand to provide 30 minute consultations.
She uses powerful Visia imaging technology to capture information and assess common problem areas such as sun damage, brown pigmentation blemishes, capillary damage, wrinkles, scars or imperfections and congested pores.
The analyst will identify goals for treatment and offer solutions to overcome niggling complexion concerns and take years off a clients' appearance, without the need to go under the knife.
The skin advisor also recommends products for use at home, salon treatments as well as dietary and lifestyle advice, which is aimed at giving the individual clearer, more radiant, even toned, smoother and less lined skin.
The machine's camera provides a series of images which reveal the extent of each problem and attributes a 'score'.
Heather Terrington, who is a beauty lecturer at the Chippenham campus, said: "There are too many empty promises in the beauty world.
"By using this sophisticated system we can now prove to our clients that using active skincare products and following our advice makes a measurable and visible difference.
"We can even artificially 'age' clients to show how they could look in five years without proper skincare."
The cost for a Visia analysis appointment is just £20, which includes a facial, £10 donation to the salon's chosen charity Changing Faces, and 20% off any product ordered or purchased on the day. If that isn't enough clients will also get 30% of the next treatment.
Those that attended the successful event last year will be able to see the improvement in their skin since their last appointment.
Alternatively, there will be Environ Facials on offer at the bargain price of £15, with £5 also being donated to charity.
Environ, is an innovative, award winning skincare range based on modern scientific research and has a host of celebrity fan including Elle Macpherson, Claudia Winkleman, Sienna Miller, Lynda Bellingham and Naomi Watts.
Places are limited so don't miss your chance to get an appointment by calling the Aspire salon on 01249 465224.
